12” x 16” Oil on Canvas $125 Brief Description: This painting sprang into my consciousness after a tour of Weyerhaeuser corporate headquarters and some of their plantations in the Cascades. The tour emphasized the forests visible near the horizon line in this painting. I’m in favor of lumber companies making money and have nothing against logging. But I have walked though both privately managed public lands and private forests—they don’t look like Weyerhaeuser’s PR campaign.
