Brief Description:
Despite it’s simple
composition, I spent almost more time laying out this piece than I did
painting it.
The violin in the background
is presented larger-than-life to throw it into contrast with the orange and
Vitamin C jar in the fore-ground.
This the 1st painting in a 4
part series. The original intent was to complete one painting for each year of college, summing up that year.
The
3rd
and the
4th
took considerably longer to complete than originally planned.
